With entry of the new Sony VAIO TT Series the other existing notebooks are likely to retire. The ultra portable notebook from Sony has come with an enhanced configuration set to give an unparalleled performance. It is an ultra lightweight notebook having a weight of a mere 2.87 pounds and featuring a WXGA display of 11.1 inches having an LED back lighting.

The notebook from Sony, which is famous for its innovativeness and designs styles in the laptops, comes in two different variants; one is an extreme version (VGN-TT190UBX) with black carbon fiber features and other is a lower model which is available in three colors: gold (VGN-TT190EIN), red (VGN-TT190EIR) and black (VGN-TT190NIB).

Both the variants feature a premium Intel processor having a core 2 duo processor, which needs ultra low voltage requirements, but the processor does not offer Hyper Threading technology. The Sony VAIO TT notebook is one of the thinnest notebooks, with just 0.94 inches thickness. It uses a whopping 256 GB SSD Hard drive, which gives a very high memory configuration for a tiny notebook.

Technical Details:

• The ultra portable Sony VAIO TT uses an Intel core 2 Duo SU9400 and Intel core 2 Duo SU9300 as processors in its tow variants. Its extreme and lower versions operate at a high 1.4 and 1.2 GHz frequency. Both have an exquisite feature that they operate on low voltages. The fiber model uses a 2 GB DDR3 type RAM and both models use a 3 MB of L2 cache memory.
• The Black model (VGN-TT190NIB) of Sony VAIO TT has a memory of 160 GB and has a plain DVD reader and writer along with a CD reader and writer while the VGN-TT190UBX, the extreme model, has a (2x) Blu-Ray reader, writer cum a DVD reader, writer cum a CD reader, writer in a single unit.
• The VAIO-TT190UBX has a 256 GB solid state Harddrive, 2 USB ports, memory stick Pro memory slots and an HDMI output. The notebook contains a built-in camera of premium class and for fulfilling the networking requirement the notebook is equipped with Bluetooth, wireless with 802.11 b/g/n speed and ethernet (LAN) technology.
