The new Dell Alienware M15x comes with advanced, customized features, as an improvement in prior model i. e. Alienware M17x. This new gaming laptop has got a noteworthy portability by the reduction in its battery weight and also in its screen size to 15.4” from a 17” model along with maintaining the same quality resolution of the older model.
There is another marked difference of the graphics cards in the Alienware’s two models. While the 17” model contained an SlI graphics card set, this 15” contains only a single graphics card. But Dell’s 15” is upgraded with a new CPU and advanced graphics processor along with replacement in many smaller parts.
The exterior of Alienware’s 15” still remains the same having that of a professional type of look. Its design is smooth, clean and dare or simply to say more like business-class like appearance. There is only one body color and that is a decent silver color but the monitor is beautifully covered with a blue border to add to its style.

The Dell Alienware M15x has an 86-key keyboard; the keys are surrounded by a pleasant blue color around each key to give a magnified look to the keys. The keys are placed at sufficient gap to give a smooth feel of key shifting and it creates an ease to broad hand typers.

  The display is still astounding with a whopping resolution of 1920 x 1200 though having a reduction in its screen area. It has a very high pixel density, thus showing a soft image on the screen. It becomes very easy to work for hours without feeling any etching in the eyes, it is the most beneficial aspect of this laptop.
• Size and Weight:
  The laptop size is approximately 14.55 x 10.73”, having a weight of around 7 pounds, which is very controllable. There can be slight change in the weight depending on the use of the drive. Generally the choice may vary from a 2x Blu-ray Disc Burner drive, extra Li-Ion battery drive or a 300 GB secondary hard drive. But there is one great advantage with Dell Alienware M15x, that these all three devices can be hot swapped within seconds.
