It is for the first time, Apple MacBook Pro has been designed on a drastically changed material component, machine compacted aluminum body. Special body manufacturing process has no role for the conventional material-titanium in the body. With the new body, the notebook did not have to go for erstwhile black body color. Although the screen is quite a bit imposing in elegance, there is terrible reflection in well lit places. The screen provides better viewing from angles due to its tilting character for adjusting to a convenient angle. Glass covering of the screen needs to be improved to check reflection. MacBook Pro has 15.4 inch LED screen with 1440×900 resolutions.
• Keyboard and touchpad – It has a chick keyboard, black in color with a large trackpad of glass. The trackpad itself serves as touch response surface, responding to assigned finger-gestures for left clicking, right clicking, zooming and rotation finger swipes for activation of Expose.
• Other distinctive features- MacBook Pro has two USB ports, new Mini Display Port jack, Ethernet connection port, ExpressCard slot, Firewire 800 port and MagSafe connection port. The display of battery charge level is quite useful feature. Battery cover gets easily opened with a flip giving easy access to the battery. These apart, Pro has provision of expanding the memory up to 4 GB which on the sets is DDR3. The set gets up less heated during heavy use. MacBook Pro has Penryn Core 2 Duo processor and 2GB DDR 3 RAM.

MacBook Pro measures 14.35 x 9.82 x 0.95 inches and weighs 5.5 pounds. It is priced at 1999 dollars, and 100 dollars less with special discount for education.
