Acer has launched a 18.4″ laptop which does not serve the purpose of mobility because Laptops are mainly bought for easy mobility and if someone is really looking for a big screen why not they invest their money in a big desktop rather than a bulkt laptop which solves the same purpose. This Aspire 8920G model features Full HD display, webcam and full loaded with multimedia features. The external dimensions of this laptop are 17.4 x 11.8 x 1.6-inch with a 4Gb RAM , 320Gb Hard Disk Drive and a 2X Optimical Drive.

This Notebook comes with a fingerprint reader which lets you to set security lock and with a swipe of your finger you can gain complete access. Since this is the bulky laptop, it has a lot of space to offer you with 4 USB ports, ports for VGA, HDMI, Ethernet, and modem, and a 54mm ExpressCard slot. The bottom area is really big because of the Top screen hence, Acer has used this space by adding a unique multimedia control panel with useless Blue LED-backlit rouch-sensitive control. There are different Media Control Buttons – Stop, Play/Pause, Skip forward, Skip back, Fast-Forward, and Rewind like the ones which you can normally find on a Multimedia Keyword from Logitech or Microsoft.

Even though this Laptop has a high configuration of 2.6-GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T9500 processor its not really considered for gaming and you can use it for normal business. With a Battery life of 3 hours which is quite good considering the size of the screen. The price of this bulk piece is set at 2500USD which is again high because you are not paying Sony or Apple for their brand name and acer should have considered a decent pricing for this multimedia desktop replacement laptop.
